LSS Business Summary – First Half Of 2021

Accordingly, despite the complicated Covid epidemic, the Board of Directors and all LSS staff were fully present in the meeting via Zoom meeting. This is a very special connection and brings a lot of excitement to nearly 70 members of the organization amid the strict implementation of the Government’s Covid prevention directive.

At the meeting, LSS CEO Mr. Nguyen Thai Thuat Hien briefly shared about the company’s general situation, difficulties, advantages, opportunities and challenges that LSS’s management and staffs need to pay attention to promptly adapt to the new situation in the middle of the pandemic. Mr. Huynh Huu Thiep, Chairman of LSS also expressed his joy and optimism about the solidarity of the LSS team to overcome the pandemic as well as hope for great progress in the coming time.

Especially, the “LSS Fund for the Community” established by LSS was also launched in this conference. Fortunately, all LSS employees still get fully paid despite the peak of the pandemic, LSS sustainably hold its position because of its capability and trust in the industry, as a result of an outstanding effort from the Board of Directors during the whole time. Therefore, LSS wishes to share a part of its fortune in the fight against the pandemic through the LSS Fund for the Community. With this, LSS would like to sincerely thank all the staff members who have unanimously contributed to the Fund’s growth after only a few hours, each amount of money voluntarily contributed by an individual is a genuine to support other employees who unfortunately get sick or facing difficult situations during the epidemic & doctors, hospitals.

Simultaneously, health care consulting activities as staff are working from home were also deployed by the Board of Directors to LSS staff via online meetings with Doctor Tran Tri Dung, who is currently working at the Thu Dung War No. 1 field hospital in the dormitory of the National University. The exchange brought a lot of knowledge about the Covid epidemic situation as well as necessary information to handle when infected. The Covid consulting activity received a positive response and Q&A from the members, proving a flexible step, adapting to the current situation.

At the meeting, many topics were exchanged and discussed to improving the quality of work, the coordination between the Board of Directors and other departments in the company, between individuals and the organization as well as the necessary tasks to implement in the last 6 months of the year. Accordingly, LSS has made steady progress over the past time in terms of scale, quantity and influence in the Landscape Architecture industry through impressive projects, milestones and indicators.

The company also commended and interviewed individuals who successfully completed their tasks with very good KPIs in the first 6 months of the year, thereby motivating all LSS members to continue their efforts to contribute for LSS in particular and for the future of Landscape Architecture in general.

In the end of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thai Thuat Hien highly appreciated the efforts, solidarity of the Board of Directors and staff with a high sense of responsibility, overcoming all difficulties in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic and at the same time acknowledged the very practical comments of the members. He wished that the LSS organization in the coming time would always be proactive, creative, high sense of responsibility, and together making excellent acheivements in all targets and plans assigned in 2021.
